Ok, regarding Oregon: I am committed to being at least as West as Denver, and potentially West-er, which includes Portland, so if you can start a nice Pomona compound in Portland, that may influence my decision. Also, tell Lees he should come too, but only if he doesn’t expect to date me.

Ah, West. I hope you are having a great West if you are still there.

PS I am back to my own blog at last so please read it!! Preferably multiple times a day so I think I have lots of hits.

I’m glad you’re planning on coming back to Oregon eventually. Maybe I’ll be back in the northwest by then too!

And if it’s any consolation, San Francisco is stupid cold and kind of rainy in the summer too. Though our “real” summer comes in September, supposedly. Somehow it’s just not right.

Yay! Glad you’ve been to Oregon!

I’ll certainly enjoy it when I’m back (County Fair!), but unfortunately will be dissertation-ing at the same time, which is a bit hectic but can be done!

Incidentally, I’ve also been to Oregon and it’s one of my favourite States (honest!). Enjoy when you get back……
